Migraine is a severe headache that can occur in the form of throbbing in the head and may cause nausea, vomiting and extreme sensitivity to light and sound. Migraine attacks can cause severe pain in the head and last for hours or days, and can be so intense that a person wants to lie down and sleep in a quiet and dark place. Some types of migraine may be accompanied by warning sensory symptoms, such as lightning and flashes of light, blind spots, or tingling in the hands and feet. Medicines are available to reduce the pain and frequency of migraine attacks. The best result of these drugs is when they are used with a combination of lifestyle changes and home remedies.

Types of migraine disease

There are several types of categories for migraine disease, which we will explain some of them:

Migraine with light radiation. This type of migraine occurs when warning signs known as light radiation appear before it occurs. Almost a third of people who have migraine suffer from this type. These warning signs can include vision problems (including seeing light rays) and dryness in the neck, shoulders, or legs. Migraine without light radiation. Migraine without headache. Symptoms of migraine disease

The symptoms of migraine are different and may be one or a combination of the following symptoms:

Causes of migraine headache

By changing the lifestyle, the number of migraine attacks and their intensity can be reduced. Some of these changes include:

Avoid migraine headache triggers. If certain foods or fragrances trigger your migraine headaches, avoid them. Reducing the consumption of caffeine, smoking and alcohol is one of the ways of prevention. Also, maintaining a regular pattern for sleep and food, in addition to controlling stress, is another one of these ways. regular exercise Regular aerobic exercise can reduce stress and prevent migraine attacks. These sports include walking, swimming or cycling. Of course, don't do intense exercise, because intense and sudden exercise can cause headaches. weight loss Obesity is another factor of migraine, weight loss, exercise and healthy diet can reduce the risk of migraine headache. Reducing the effects of estrogen. If you are a woman who suffers from migraines, estrogen can be one of the factors that trigger migraines. Try to reduce or stop the use of hormonal and contraceptive drugs with the doctor's advice.
